Business breakfast with the President of FERMA Mr. Jorge Luzzi

On June 15, 2012 «Russian risk management society» (RusRisk) arranged a business breakfast with the President of FERMA (The Federation of European risk management associations) Mr. Jorge Luzzi. The meeting took place in Moscow office ( business center "Belaya Square") and with Deloyt CIS company support.

More than 30 people took part in the meeting – representatives of risk managers community. These are representatives of large industrial and energy companies: SIBUR Holding, Polyus Gold, ENEL OGK-5, Gazprom, INTERRAO EEC, AFK Sistema, RusHydro, large cellular operators – Euroset and Megafon, insurance companies - Zurich, Rosgosstrakh, Evro-Polis, Export insurance agency, and also universities and the consulting companies – NIU VSE, Valtars Risk Management, Territorial election commission Management, PM SOFTWARE, etc.

After detailed presentation of the main objectives and tasks of the European Federation in the open discussion questions of interaction of a risk management and internal audit in the industrial companies, a recent initiative of FERMA of certification risk managers, problems of motivation of shareholders and top managers, a necessity of creation a risk management system in Russian large and medium-sized companies were discussed. Jorge Luzzi also invited Russian risk managers to take part in the seminar following the results of the traditional FERMA benchmarking which will take place on October 22-23, 2012 in Versailles (France).
